AP stands for "advanced placement". Like taking Honors classes in high school, Advanced Placement is another type of class. It is a college level course that you take an exam for at the end of the year, and if you pass the exam, you receive a credit for the course in college, meaning that you already would have taken it and passed and you don't have to take it in college.
Examples: AP Biology, AP Physics, AP World History, AP Calculus...etc.
:) Hope I helped.

I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with dining out....
AP = Advanced Placement...it's a class. Offered by and governed by and tested by a Princeton University board.
